Good Dreamcast games...

I've read all the guides and such on the dreamcast, but i was wondering what are some good games to buy/burn on a cdr.

Soul Calibur
Mortal Combat Gold
Phantasy Star Online V.1
Fighting Force 2
Ready 2 Rumble Boxing
Dragonicus: Cult of the Wyrn
Rippin Riders
Bang! Gunstar Elite (i think thats what it's called)
Incoming
2 Controllers
3 Memory Cards
and i got it all for 40 bucks.

First of all is that a good deal and second what games should i get for it/burn for it?

"Sword of the Berserk: Guts' Rage" is the best thing anyone will ever play in their life, so burn that disc post-haste.

I also notice an appalling lack of Jet Grind Radio and Shenmue in your list.

I wasn't wild about Sonic Adventure 1 or 2, but you have a Sega console so those are obligatory.

Well i got the whole thing for a good price, i think. I'm looking on various web sights for shenmue and Jet Grind Radio. Also, this is my first time owning a dreamcast, so I'm happy to just have one.

Fighting - Fatal Fury/Garou, Street Fighter III, Project Justice, Powerstone
Action/Adventure - Sword of the Berzerk: Guts Rage, Evil Twin, Sonic Adventure
Sports - anything 2KX
Racing - F355 Challenge, Crazy Taxi
Puzzle - Super Puzzle Fighter II, The Next Tetris

There were also a lot of good PS1 ports for the console. For if your a fan of the PS1 check out some of those ports.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but if you don't have it on Gamecube, pick up Skies of Arcadia, it's one of the best RPGs on the system. I consider Phantasy Star Online an MMO, so unless you really really REALLY like to play while talking to other people using fancy dial up on hacked servers, pick up Skies, you won't be dissapointed.
