What Classic Games Would You Like To Learn More About?

Are there any classic games that you've heard good things about that you just haven't dug into or don't know that much about?

Durkada wrote up a great piece on M.U.L.E. and I think it would be a good start to a game-specific version of the Retro Gaming 101 series.

Hopefully, this would feature important games that not everyone is very familiar with but still are relevant and influential.

Sounds good.

I could say something like JSR or Shenmue but I guess those have been done to death. But would love to learn more about their developement (how much of Shenmue was done when it shifted from Saturn to DC etc) and hidden things like that duck race.
