That is slick, gonna borrow son's PS3 if a HD Ico - Shadow Colossus compilation happens.

Whenever this comes out, everything else I got going on gamingwise is going to come to a halt. Nothing gets priority over Ico

Anyone here agrees that if they bump up the framerate to 60fps it will take away from the charm of the games? A good idea would be to lock the rate at 24fps for a movie-like experience. In fact I don't know why so many people obsess overy framerates so much. 60fps is good for fast-paced games like Burnout but for most games I find a solid 30fps rate to be quite convenient.

I tried this with PCSX2, could get between 30 and 60fps but the sound was fucked... Like the sound was only running at half speed. Very weird.

I expected them to do this. Ico and Shadow are just too awesome to let rest on the PS2, and the GoW collection left me no doubts this was the future with a new Team Ico game forthcoming.

I don't think it would ruin the experience. That, combined with cleaner graphics will definitely change the tone. Part of the movie-like feel to these games came from the graininess of the graphics. But they can counter-balance that.

I do see your point, however. But in the future, where we are going to be spending the rest of our lives, 24 FPS is going to be as annoying to people as watching black and white films. Many movies, today, are now running at substantial higher FPS. I'm willing to embrace that trend.

As long as the manual camera doesn't do a Modern Warfare 2 spin.

PAL version does have better graphics and old movie alternate modes.
