Help me decide. Borderlands PC or 360?

Buy the 360 version ($37.99) or PC version ($27.99) of Borderlands at Amazon, get the double game add-on pack for free. Add-on pack includes The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot.

I know racketboy has a small community of Borderlands PC players, but I also have a handful of friends and a brother (we play on LIVE) who own the 360 version.

So yeah, I'm torn I typically default to the PC version of a game. Should I continue this trend?

Console definitely. I have found gameplay on a HD on the couch more therapeutic for a gamer fix.
Then again not owning a 360 might push to get a PC version.

I'm all about sitting on the floor with FPS's to maintain focus, so comfort isn't a huge priority. On my PC, I sit in a drafting chair, which is reasonably comfortable.

Whichever way you go that's a helluva deal! I'm considering getting the PC version now.

Well, I don't know how successful the other guys here have been about playing together, but I'm not very good at matching up. That's largely because I play infrequently and at odd hours, but if you're hoping to match up with some fellow racketboy members ask Hobie-wan, Niode, or Derek if they have had any luck.

If you think you would have better luck meeting up with your Xbox friends, that might be the option to go. The downside though is that you will be spending more money and you won't have the precision of a mouse for aiming, though I imagine a 360 controller is better for the driving portions of the game.

I can never play games sitting on my couch. I move my desk chair to in front of the TV and play like that. I have to be sitting up straight and eye level with the action. lol
