I didn't hate the first. Skipped the storyline scenes and enjoyed it as a robot/bug shooter.

Looking forward to playing the second LP at a discounted price, a year from now.

I played the hell out of LP multiplayer. I actually only bought the game because I had DLed the MP demo and loved it. Then one day I decided to play the game proper and got about a half hour in. So I dig the MP and that is about it. I'll get LP2 when it gets cheap if I hear good things about the MP.

I liked the first Lost Planet which had a good story and fun multi-player. I finished Lost Planet 2 earlier this month and the multiplayer is the main draw which is seen from all the demos and is pretty fun. However, the story is pretty much nonexistent and not as compelling as original.

Played through the coop demo of LP2 with Sharky tonight. Damn it's fun. I'm going to have to pick this up ASAP. Anyone let me know if they're down for some demo play.
