About your last question I don't know. If Apple's share is more expensive than Microsoft, then to an investor Apple is more valuable, but as total worth goes, I think it's

First of all what is that map supposed to be, the areas where people like the number 70?

And who cares, macs aren't that great, I'm typing on one right now and I use them constantly at school. They have the same sort of retarted problems that windows machines tend to have, except they also have worse hardware and far less freeware.
If I didn't live near an Apple store I would have gotten rid of mine by now, I've had to get the logic board replaced twice, and my dvd drive needs to be replaced, and this is only in 2 years.
Plus the people in Apple stores are mostly trendy douches. A handful of the genius bar guys are alright, but most refuse to admit any real problems with the hardware or software. Also the UIs of Windows 7 and new linux distros make OSX look and feel flat out archaic.
There's good things about macs for sure, and I can understand why people like them. But Apple goes through phases of being pretty good price/power wise, and being pretty bad, all while acting really obnoxious as a company.

Looks like Apple did speak out regarding the suicides, but the phenomenon seems far from over.

What's to conclude with the original story is that consumer tastes have dominated gadget sales (over actual usability in business activities), which made Apple quite successful.

And because the virus creators are avid Linux users who just can't stand the big corporations! "OPEN SOURCE! OPEN SOURCE!"

I wish all viruses would just go away, so utterly pointless.
In the meantime, Mac and Linux users are safe. Sure, there are viruses out there, somewhere... It's just not enough to even think about getting some anti viral software. I wish Windows users wouldn't have to use that shit either, it just slows the computer down and causes problems.
