Your First RPG

I can't remember for certain, but I know it was one of three games: Zelda II, Final Fantasy, or Dragon Warrior. I was 7.

I was late to the rpg's due to my love of arcade games so it was Shining Force that first interested me. Shining in the Darkness sealed my fate as a rpg fan!

I love the Shining series until the PS2 era where they moved from turn-based battles to real time battles. Tears I enjoyed, Neo is where they lost me it's okay and Exa I own but don't feel inspired to play

First RPG for me was Pokemon Blue. Since then I've fallen in love with the genre.

IIRC, the first one that I bought and beat on my own was Final Fantsy: Mystic Quest for the SNES. Granted that it's not exactly the most challenging one out there, but at the time it was neat.

Shining Force 2 for Mega Drive. Since that game, I began playing RPGS like crazy. If Shining Force doesn't count (since it's a tactic RPG) then my first one was Chrono Trigger which came afterward.

final fantasy has been my favorite video game series ever since.

I can't remember the first one I ever played, but I CAN remember the first one I ever owned. My stepdad let me stay home from school one day to have a "game day" with just me and him. We went to an electronics store and we were browsing games when I came across Earthbound (this was back when it was still on shelves). We bought it and took it home. Still to this day I have never beaten the game, but unfortunately, like the idiot I am, I sold it when I was like 13 for thirty bucks. Still wish I had it, especially since it's eventually going to cost me an arm and a leg to replace it.

oh geez, it could've been either Final Fantasy (NES), Pokemon Red, or Super Mario RPG. I honestly couldn't tell you which.
