Based on racketboy's recommendation i picked up the 1st one for my ps2. Awesome game and I only paid like $10 for it. What a steal! I just noticed that the 2nd one is going to be released (according to amazon.com) on 12-31-10.. how awesome! Finally a release date for this game.

December 31 is almost always a placeholder date and rarely, if ever, an actual release date. Pretty much read it as "we don't know when this is coming out, maybe by the end of the year I don't know."

I need to finish BG&E. I have it on ps2 but would rather own the gamecube version.

Hasn't the sequel been shelved? It's a real shame, they should re-release the first on the wii with new play control maybe it'll have a better chance of finding an audience.

Given the lack of screens and footage I think if it's a no show at E3 it's dead. The leaked "freerunner" footage was great but why no related screens? Even when they came out and confirmed it was indeed BG&E2 still no official press??

"indefinite development" doesn't mean any money at all is being put it's way, To me it sounds like Ubisoft not wanting to deal with a backlash, The leaked footage could have been the studio stirring up some investment intrest? Roll on E3...
