That's a wonderful idea!

Ooooh, a whole new way to rub fanboys the wrong way! I really hope this takes off. I love free entertainment.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Yea, I mean companies can never make more copies of a game.noiseredux wrote:too bad the whole supply/demand thing gets in the way...

Do scores go above the regular retail price or is it the maximum?
Re: game reviews scored as currency
Supply and demand will still cause the VALUE of the game (not the in-store price) to fluctuate, no matter how many copies they churn out. 11 years ago I bought the greatest hits FFVII for $17 new. There are a million copies of that game out there not to mention the Digital Download options for PSP/PS3. Today you're lucky to get that same greatest hits version, used with scratches, for less than $45.yomomma1 wrote:Yea, I mean companies can never make more copies of a game.noiseredux wrote:too bad the whole supply/demand thing gets in the way...

I assume retail is a 10/10. Could be wrong, but it wouldn't really make sense to review newer games and rate them in the hundreds when they are so readily available at retail.jfrost wrote:Do scores go above the regular retail price or is it the maximum?
I read the system as 'at what point do i stop waiting for a game to drop in price and decide to buy it' Regular price- is not waiting at all. 10/10.

The review kinda is the demand. Not the whole demand, but anybody that read's the review's demand. If you catch my drift.noiseredux wrote:too bad the whole supply/demand thing gets in the way...
I like it because it's saying that if you can find the game for this price, go ahead, if you can't, it's not worth it.
