Wavebird is greater than sex.

Sex between wavebirds must get pretty freaky then.

I'd have to say the Wavebird is the most comfortable, but it's lack of rumble and the use of AA batteries instead of a rechargeable battery keep it from being the best.

I'd also have to go with the Dualshock 3. Rumble, rechargeable, and don't have to plug a receiver in.

Why do you all consider the Wavebird to be best? I love that controller too, but it lacks a bunch of features that newer wireless controllers have.

Nintendo has pretty much the best d-pad design ever, so why did they have to use that gameboy piece of shit on the gamecube controller?

I agree wholeheartedly. Reminds of playing Street Fighter II on my SNES and my friend's Genesis. I could never pull off the freaking moves on the Genny d-pad.

You've answered your own question Cristoph. The wavebird is the obvious answer. It has earned its reputation as the best wirless controller. Before the wavebird all wireless controllers used unreliable infra-red signals. The RF transmitter in the wavebird is the predecessor to modern wireless controllers.
