Best or Worthwhile Playstation 1 Imports

Post by pepharytheworm »

I am finally looking into getting Playstation imports. Whats some JP or Pal imports you guys like for the PS1? Mostly looking for non-US released games unless they're are a lot cheaper. If its also on the Saturn I am only interested if its better or cheaper than the Saturn version. Most of the ones I found interesting are expensive if you guys know some cheaper ones help me out. Here's my small list I made so far.

Mad Stalker: Full Metal Force
Umihara Kawase Syun
Gunners Heaven
Panzer Bandit
Rakugaki Showtime
Cotton 100%

Ganbare Goemon: Uchukaizoku Akogingu
Ganbare Goemon: Kuru Nara Koi! Ayashi Geikka no Kuroi Kage
Ganbare Goemon: Oedo Daikaiten
Ganbare Goemon: Shin Sedai Shuumei
Doraemon SOS
Macross Do You Remeber Love
Oh No!
Ultraman Fighting
Shaman King Spirit of Shamans
TATSUNOKO FIGHT
MASKED RIDER AGITO
Macross VF-X2
Gundam The Battle Master

Agree on Internal Section, trippy, reminds me of a simple Rez.

This reminds me of TG16 shooters - Japanese Harmful Park

Few other Japanese oddities, mention a while back.
Vib Ribbon (Strange music, custom levels with your music)
L.S.D. (Still haven't figured this one out)
Import DDRs (All the Non-U.S. release tracks)

2 great ones:
PAL - Twinsen Little Big Adventure
Japanese - Neverhood Klaymen Klaymen (The adventure puzzler)

I wanna this one:
Japanese TFX

Actually, Team Buddies was released in NA, just in very small quantities. It's sad because of what a great game it is.

I'll add Vib Ribbon.

Bust a Move the Japanese version of Bust a Groove.
Disco guy what's his name smokes a cigarette in this one.
Hamm is so wrong drawn. Same game, just politically incorrect collectable.

Team Buddies was mentioned and confirmed -- its a NA release. I have a copy and am glad.

I'll second Bust-a-Move. This also got an NA release, but as Bust-a-Groove. Great little rhythm game, which is mildly censored for our shores. When I went to ccgaming, they had both this and the sequel.

I'll add:

Xai Jumbo (sequel to Devil Dice)
Crazy Climber games (there are a couple -- one works with the analog sticks, one does not).

^^^
I saw the Bust-a-Move games at CCGaming. They were selling them at $30 and $40. In fact that is in part why I wrote this thread. I bought a Power Replay cib from them just yesterday for $5 which besides cheating lets you play jp imports and cd-rs. They had a couple JP ps games but I thought they were too expensive.

Cyberbots $50, Vampire (darkstalkers) $30, and Capcom Generations 5 $30 the price on that one isn't bad but I don't need another copy of Street Fighter II. So thats why I am looking for some cheap ps1 imports so can at least try this thing out and make sure it works. But still list expensive ones too.
