Some people genuinely love it. They were looking forward to seeing Gladiator 2. I think the ones who are most disappointed are the ones who didn't know ROBIN HOOD was actually a Robin Hood prequel.

You've got to hear the BBC interview where Crowe walks out after the interviewer said he noticed an Irish accent on Crowe's Robin Hood. Funny stuff. Crowe's a funting dick.

The Cooler.

1 of the best I've seen this year! Even though it's from 03.

Watched Hard Boiled...again.

Epic. Quite possibly one of the best action movies ever.

I love showing Hard Boiled to groups of friends... only problem is, there is always "that guy". Sometimes, more than one.

"I don't wanna read this! Put it on English audio!"

And I always have to tell them to STFU. No f'en way am I watching it dubbed, and I'm not even hardcore anti-dub... hell, I actually prefer Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop dubbed. It's just always awkward as hell in a live action movie.

Oh yeah - I also saw Iron Man 2. Nothing amazing, but it was about what I expected it to be.

The Island. This movie is a guilty pleasure yes I know it's Michael Bay and yes it's mindless and full of plot holes but I somehow enjoyed it on the big screen (and off, ie on DVD).

So where are the Robin Hood impressions?

Very nice choices! All of those are amazing movies indeed. A couple other John Woo movies I have to recommend (no Chow, but Tony Leung who is at least as good as Chow):

Bullet in the Head
Red Cliff (Woo's most recent effort and also 5 hours long!)
