Best NEW SNES controller?

Post by pixelbender »

Hey all, I'd like to find a new original, but it seems impossible. Are any of the non-OEMs decent? THe pads I have now are just worn out and I need new ones.

I'm going to stick my nose in here because I'm in the same boat - the original controllers I've had since launch are starting to get just too mushy. I'd like to pick up the same-style of controller, i.e. not the SNES Advantage or other arcade stick style. I'd prefer to pick up Nintendo originals, but any recommendations of non-N pads?

These controllers look pretty neat.. however, I would want to see what others have to say about them before I get any:

I've used their wireless NES controllers that ship with their Messiah NES clone. Very squishy, doesn't have the right "feel" for me. But your milage may vary.
