What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

First off I hate cheap camera footage "you are there" Blair Witch, District Nine type movies.

However HURT LOCKER is phenomenal with great footage, acting and effects. Maybe partial being ex-military, hooking up aircraft to catapults. Not in the same league, heat of battle as the ground pounders, I really have empathy for the E.O.D. team as portrayed in that move. A great action Docu-Drama type of movie.

I really like the Hurt Locker... no I loved the Hurt Locker. I was very surprised that it ended up being a contender for awards. I figured it would be the type of movie everyone hated because of the plot (war) and the feel (dark and gloomy). I have heard a lot of complaints from non-military types about how boring it is and about how unrealistic it is... first, I say who care, second, it's nice to hear a military guy comment.

I didn't find district 9 to be a blair witch/cloverfield type movie. It felt more like a regular movie with some documentary footage thrown in, most of which didn't have a low quality home video look to it.

Just saw Iron Man 2 in theaters. Not as good as the first, but watching War Machine go to town with all of his guns blazing in the end was more than worth it.

I just took my son to see Iron Man 2. We both really enjoyed it, even though he fell asleep towards the end. To be fair, he is only about to turn 3, so it had nothing to do with the movie's quality!

Did you stay to watch the short clip at the end of the credits?

Oh yes. I won't spoil anything, but it was really awesome for a comic book fan like myself!

Yeah, same here. As soon as they did the reveal, you could hear all of the comic fans in the audience go "Oooh!!" at the same time.
