If I'm playing one, I usually have to dedicate all of my time to it, or I'm simply not going to get anywhere in any of them. And even worse, I have a bad habit of glutting myself on one and then getting bored and quitting before I finish. So how do you guys handle it?
Generally I'll have one RPG that's my main, and maybe a couple others that are fun but aren't as gripping. For example, I just finished a playthrough of Infinite Space where I was mostly playing that, and occationally switching to Romancing SaGa 3 or Sakura Wars. With Romancing SaGa the story presentation is not nearly as strong as I'm used to, so I'm not getting into it as much. With Sakura Wars the whole game is episodic, so I can play a chapter and do something else.
I just started playing Half Minute Hero for PSP. Genius game. I can literally spend 2 minutes playing and feel like I have really accomplished something.
This game IS genius. I do have a bit of advice for you, though; there is no auto-save. I made the mistake of getting to the end of the game and turning it off, then finding out that I hadn't saved in several hours. I ended up just snagging someone else's save off GameFAQs at that point, as I didn't want to play through the whole thing again to get the unlockable music player.
Also, just wait until you fully beat the game. You unlock Hero 3, which gives you 3 seconds to beat the game. It's intense!
