Design Tweaks For Blog

Post by racketboy »

I've got some slight redesigns coming up and wanted to get input on it.
As I mentioned previously, I'm now longer going to have separate sections like "retro gaming" and "game rooms".
Everything will be in one section, but in categories.

Because of this, I want to simplify the design a bit and also reduce unused white space.

Here's a mockup of what I have so far

I think it really doesn't need a redesign, but we've been over this.

It doesn't NEED anything. And it's not a redesign. Just optimization ;)

I think it is a very good idea to join up all the "sections"; some of them rarely get stuff put in them, which also means they are possibly not checked at all by a segment of the "readership" (I include myself, I rarely check "Game rooms").

Getting rid of unused space might be a good idea as well, as the auctions take some space already and you shouldn't be wasteful with the remainder space.
