It's just a personal choice the same as religion or politics. There aren't any wrong or right sides.

I was only poking fun with you SpaceBooger because you said you were a teacher but didn't want to share your views on homeschooling. Your joke reminded me of the little girl in "Kick Ass" she got a Masters Degree in that stuff.

The only thing that bugs me is when people without kids or parenting experience start going on about the right/wrong parenting choices as if it is so easily predetermined. It might be easy to have a stance on parenting until you actually have to do it. When the things you thought were right don't work then you have to adapt and adjust.

My oldest son also has severe ADHD that has a significant impact on his interactions with other kids his own age and teachers. When he comes home 4 days a week from the principals office and no punishment makes a change in that behavior then I can't let him become illiterate to teach him a lesson. Never mind all the other kids who are having their education disrupted by the constant focus on his behavior.

There aren't. Even if YOU think something is wrong, does the person doing it think so?

What does that matter? You are trying to say there is no such thing as right and wrong?

An opinion can't be right or wrong.
What makes something right or wrong?
Your right and wrong is different from another's.
There is no thing as an absolute right or wrong(in opinion and almost anything)
4 times, wow.

So if I decide murder is right, it is? Your logic seems broken. If there is no right and wrong, no one has the right to punish and imprison for anything. Therefore, empty the jails.

Anakin didn't think he was doing anything wrong when he helped murder all the Jedi.

Oh no, we are not getting into a morality discussion based off a homeschooling topic. We've had way too many of these spawn from religion, marriage, emulation, and every other bloody topic we can think of on this site, and I'm not about to let it happen again. Not in a thread that's supposed to be about a bizarre news article concerning a homeschooled kid thinking he's a ninja with a machete.

If you want to debate it, make a thread for it or use one of the multitude of threads that delve into that area that we haven't locked yet for turning into a virtual text-based fist fight. But leave this one alone.

If I see one more, thread locked.

This is why we can't have nice things.
