Homeschooled Kid Thinks He's a Ninja and Attacks People
Re: Homeschooled Kid Thinks He's a Ninja and Attacks People
I figured that you were either home schooled or had a kid that was being home schooled. I was just guessing though. And you are right, I associate home schooling with fundamentalist christianity, commune living hippies and the kind of people who join right wing militia groups. I am alright with being wrong though.

Depends on where you live. In Alabama? Well, yes, most likely it will be related to some form of Christianity, as Alabama requires you be attached to some sort of religious education group to homeschool your child, and the majority of these are related to Christianity in this state. I know several of the pagan groups in the state were attempting to create their own education group a few years ago, but I've no idea what happened with it.Octopod wrote:I figured that you were either home schooled or had a kid that was being home schooled. As for the one friend of mine that was homeschooled, he was absolutely fine, probably partly because both of his parents had taught in school at one point or another. They just didn't like the quality of schools in the area they were in, so they taught him themselves. And since they're Catholic, they had a religious organization with one of those groups that was happy to vouch for them.

Today's lesson, the science of Adam's Rib! Now, timmy, describe the science behind Adam's rib creating a woman.
"God did it!"
Good job timmy! You're so good at science. You should be an astronaut!

This joke might be pretty funny if it had some sort of factual basis or provided some sort of illuminating insight or commentary.Jrecee wrote:Today's lesson, the science of Adam's Rib! Now, timmy, describe the science behind Adam's rib creating a woman.
