Granted Im on the PS3 version, I havent had any trouble with that at all Niode. I play through arcade mode with fight request on and set it to accept people with "Same Skill". Everyone that challenges me is right around the same skill level with the same BP and PP for the most part. Maybe 50-100 higher or lower than mine at most.

In endless battle its completly hit or miss though. Who knows who I might come across in that mode, but they do seem to usually be pretty damn good.

I hate having fight request on. Seriously I could not finish a single arcade round on SFIV. I would load up the first match, then fight request fight request fight request fight request. Never ever got passed the the first round. After I got the achievement I turned it off.

@Niode
I'm still pissed that all the reports of "Oh, it's so much faster!" and "It plays like SFA2!" were fucking bullshit. I played SSF4 at GameStop, and then less than an hour later played SF4 on my PS3... no fucking difference. It feels like the same damn game.

From what I understand, Sagat is still top tier by a wide margin, too. I really don't understand all this "GAME OF THE FOREVER" crap everyone keeps spitting. Nothing has changed.

Yes it is annoying, but its the only way I can get it to match me properly.

I think the only thing they did to Sagat is tone down his uppercuts. You can go into training and it doesnt matter if you use LP, MP or HP they all do the same damage, unless you do the scar grab thing, then hes back to the same damage as always. Sadly it wasnt the uppercuts that were bad, its those fucking tiger shots. My Chun Li stands no fucking chance against a fireball spamming Sagat. :evil:

Well I take it back. Any match up this morning has been BS. Last night was great though.......

Maybe not enough people playing, so the game cant find someone of the same skill? I had to turn it off before I threw my fight stick into my TV.

Yeah I'm seriously sick of my fight pad now. I need to get a fightstick but I can't find any for less than £120 :S I'm not paying that much. Not when they have a total of £30 electronics inside them. Ridiculously overpriced.

Did the Hori EX2 never get a release over there? It doesnt have fancy Sanwa parts and all that jazz, but I thought it felt fine and can be had for $50 shipped USD over here on Amazon. You might look into that one.

EDIT:

There it is.

I still can't decide if I really want to get this. i wasn't that impressed with what I played of SF4, and I'm still a little bummed that they scrapped practically everything that made 3 great. But still, it's $35...

Just get it :P It's not a patch on SFIII but it's still pretty fun, and the online mode has changed quite a bit. I've seen it for as low as £15 in this country, a lot of the supermarkets are using it as a loss-leader.
