IMO it's easier to find one that does than one that doesn't.

I've gone through 3 Dreamcasts that can play burned games, and I've never met anyone with an American Dreamcast who couldn't play CD-Rs. I'm sure that you'll be fine.

haha, watch I"m gonna find one that doesn't play CD-Rs and in the circle there will be a 6. :lol:

Mine is a 2 and it definitely plays burns. I bought it from Flak Beard here, he can confirm this.

I always thought it was the black Sega Sports Dreamcasts that wouldn't play burns, but I guess that's not the case.

Sega too late at the end of DC cycle to prevent piracy. Anything October 2000 or older is fine.
