Same here. It's only been a short time, but no complaints here.

I think that's the thing. If things work, they're pretty unobtrusive and everyone's happy. But, if something goes wrong, they are simply horrible to deal with. In the past, I've had them and never had any problems, but the one time I did have a problem they were terrible and drug out the entire thing for two months of missed appointments, technicians coming into my home and doing the exact same thing over and over, and waiting on hold for upwards of 45 minutes once a week.

Their customer and tech support system is simply not designed to handle any but the most basic of problems.

You will only run into problems if you do any of the following:
- download over 250 gigs a month
- download large files
- use bit torrent

If you just browse websites, check email and play games, you shouldn't notice any problems. Fuck Comcast.

Download > 250 gig a month? Let me think...
4-6 anime eps/week @ ~250 mb each, 4 cartoons/week @ ~200 mb each, and 2 shows/week @ ~350 mb each, which totals to 11 GB month. Toss in another 10 GB of game related downloading, yeah, I'm not hitting the 250 GB/month limit.
Download large files? I install multi-gig games from Steam every so often (clear off some and get new ones).
Bittorrent? You better believe I use bittorrent.

Honestly, how are you downloading >250 GB a month?

My ISP is Verizon and I have DSL through them since I live to far away to get fiber. I know that there must be a problem with my line since I only get about 400kbps download but it sometimes get better after a bad rain. My plan is the up to 1.5Mbps plan. I got an ad in the mail saying that I qualify for an upgrade to the up to 2.5 or 3 Mbps plan. I was like, if I can't even get close to the max for my 1.5M plan, why would I want to upgrade?

400kps on 1.5M is pretty good! Thats pretty close to 5MB speeds.

That's an even lower cap than my internet, limited to 7.5 gig a month or 250 megabytes a day.

I had Comcast once, but I didn't have any trouble with it. Never hit the cap or anything. Never had any trouble with anything else.

I think I'm at least around 200 GB a month.
- 150 GB a month for anime downloaded with Bit Torrent (I download everything I can find for the same episode of a show and then I will compare the quality of the files and delete all but the best one. It's very common for me to download 10 files for the same episode.)
- 40 GB Youtube (I watch a lot of HD Youtube videos)
- 10 GB for games, web browsing, misc.
- PORN!!

These are all estimates but I wouldn't be surprised if I have gone over 250 GB in a month so it's very important that I don't use Comcast. Anyway, even if I only used 5 GB a month I wouldn't want to use Comcast based on principle alone.

You do that for every ep of every show, or just until you've found the group you like for that particular show? I might snag a few different versions of the first ep depending on whether I notice some things that rub me the wrong way, but even then I usually have several groups that are my default group for any new show.
