Dangit, I can't believe I missed this thread. Anyhoo, I am a big Flyers fan and I think they have a great chance this year. I say that every year, of course, but this year is different (I say that every year too). Every year we start the season and make all the moves to make us a definite for the cup. Yes, this year we did the same, but I think all the injuries have pretty much foiled most expectations. That's why this is the perfect year to take everyone by surprise. Not all bs either. Those Flyers Devils game were great hockey. Everyone is ragging on Brodeur, but he played fantastic. I don't think he lost those games. When your teammates can't generate any offense you don't have much of a chance. As for who I hope we play next, I would feel pretty comfortable with the Capitals or the Bruins, but mainly the Bruins. Plus it would be great hockey. I am just tired of playing the Penguins and that would mean we'd be on national TV and wouldn't get to hear JJ and Clement. We'd hear nothing, but Pierre McGuire professing his love over and over to Sid and asking if he can have his children. There is a bit of that when it comes to the Caps, but not as much. I wouldn't mind seeing Knuble again, he was a favorite of mine.

Hossa's hit was only as bad as it was because the player lost footing. Same when Ovi did it.
There's harder shoves throughout the game, the circumstances unfortunately led to a very painful crash into the boards.

I hope Chicago wins

On another note happy LA got knocked out. LA fans are douches. Especially this year since they were finally ahead of the ducks in the standings. Did not hear the end of it at games.

Reminds me of those Pittsburgh and Caps fans starting a few years ago :)

Hope the Blackhawks can finish off Nashville tonight. Although a game 7 at home would be pretty cool, but scary as well. A friend of mine is driving up to Nashville for game 6. Lucky bastard :x

Everyone pretty much figured Montreal was out of it, but they are about to even the series. What a game. Just witnessed an amazing shot by Lapierre (sp?). I can't believe how long the quarter finals are going. I am so used to most teams being done quickly. This makes things great for the Flyers. No matter who we play, they'll be exhausted!

Wearing my Bruins Joe Juneau sweater in celebration of the win. I have a new blank home Bruins sweater, may get Denis' sons name on it.

Here come the Hawks!

Caps need to win. I want to see Boston Vs Pens and Savard's return to the ice. We might have some aggression :)
