I finally found some, but they're pretty expensive and will stick out like the RCA jacks. Apparently the trick is to search for "s-video bulkhead jack". The first one has 2 extra wires that wouldn't be needed for our mods, but they look a little different.

D on this page looks like it would work too.

I like that first link Hobie. Looks like easy to solder up to prefabbed wires. Almost worth the little extra money.

Yeah, and the other from the same site has screw terminals which would be easy too.

Yeah, just match the right wires to the right pins. Try searching for more s-video bulkhead jacks. Maybe find a cheaper one.

Maybe double check Power adapters with volt meter, putting out correct voltage?

Just wondering if different Atari's might have different not volt, but AMP draw requirement. To confirm you have a good connection with case open, voltmeter that solder connection with power hooked up. that will at least alleviate that the transformer plug is making good contact and you have power going to the PCB.

I plug them in and have to pull them out a little bit and kind of wiggle it around until I see the tv flicker on. I seriously have no idea why this would be happening let alone on two different Ataris..hmm
Man, that's just odd. I dunno. :?
