The Super Street Fighter IV Racketboy Tourney Thread

There's an awesome free addition coming out in June for SSFIV - the option for user made tourneys and, potentially, a community-based virtual trophy:

I'm not great at Street Fighter 4, but I think an online tourney (or monthly tourneys?) could be fun for the new "update" of the game that comes out later this month. I have it pre-ordered for PS3, and I know that Racket and some of the other mods also have PS3s, so I am going to suggest that we use that platform since PSN is free and the game itself is a little cheaper right now on Amazon (plus, you can use a wider variety of fight sicks with the PS3). If you subtract the game credit they give you for preordering, the game is like $27. It'll probably be even cheaper by the time the tourney mode comes out in June.

Thoughts? Who is planning on getting the game and would be interested?

I'm highly interested but i dont have a PS3 .... but I'm getting the 360 version. So if anyone gets that instead, I'm up for a good battle.

I don't see why not, but I am suggesting the PS3 for both economic and stick-compatibility reasons.

Also, I am trying to lure in our fearless leader. I do know that Racket likes his Street Fighter (I played SF4 against him briefly at PAX East), and that he has a PS3...

As long as my new way faster internet is hooked up by then(They are taking FOREVER!!!) then Im down for PS3. Probably alot of trouble just to get my face punched in, but it sounds fun!

I'm in (for ps3). This game should satisfy the waiting time I have to do until Marvel vs Capcom 3 releases
