Worst or most disappointing gaming experience ever?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I mean, it was still a WONDERFUL game, but I find its very young-age slant to the difficulty held it back from true greatness. I would reccomend Okami to any gamer. Just not for me I guess.

Like I said, missing the point

This is what I mean about people evaluating a game just on difficulty alone. That's only one part of the equation, and every game is trying to accomplish something different. Okami wasn't about the challenge

I don't think the game was too long personally. I loved the story, and if they shortened it we would have just gotten something lame like practically every Zelda story. That's one of the things that make Beyond Good and Evil and Okami better than Zelda games, stories that you actually give a crap about. Every Zelda game has the same stupid story. Princess needs rescuing, Ganon is the big bad, and Link is the chosen one. Lame. I thought Okami had charming characters and a nice twist or two.

I have had so many letdowns and have played so many games, I can't remember the older ones.
Some of the later for me, Breakdown on Xbox and RE4 for GC.
Breakdown looked great and the story was interesting, but the controls were counter-intuitive (to me) considering it's a 1st person action-adventure. I'll definitely give it another go soon, but for now.
RE4, because it's like a long-escort mission in Ace Combat. I never berated women like that in by life before........... my wife even suggested I stopped playing it as I kept making her laugh and be embarrassed at the same time.
