If 2K wants to do something with X-COM, they should just re-release it for NDS or XBLA, rather than make a new one.

Did anybody else think this thread was going to be about the upcoming "Rage" game from id Software when they saw this topic?

Yeah... X-Com and Front Mission, now reduced to mindless action games. Good times we be livin' in, lemme tell ya.

To be fair, this isn't the first time Front Mission has gone action. You've got both Gun Hazard and Online that went for an action game, and hell, Online is essentially what Evolved is.

I'd like a good (original style), new X-Com AND Syndicate.

Yeah... I guess the biggest problem with Evolved is who's making it.

As for X-Com... too bad they didn't decide to just rip off Valkyria Chronicles for a new game.
