On Saturday, two guys put in 12 hour shifts and a third put in a 14 hour. I was one of the 12ers. We were swamped continuously. It got so bad, we had one of the cooks go out and start taking food to tables just so we could make room for more food to send out.

The best part about it? All three of us had closed on Friday night, worked the Saturday shift from Hell, and then opened Sunday morning together. After a while, we were just wandering through the kitchen, randomly saying "I hate this place" as we passed each other. One of us ended up haivng nightmares about making food once he got home, and I keep hearing the sound of the microwave going off.

Ticked off:

The fact that NC still allows people to have "Confederate Veteran" license plates.

You must have some extremely elderly drivers in North Carolina.

Their stupidity exceeds their age.

All the people who don't use their turn signals. This is a pet peeve of mine, but it agitated me even more today for some reason. Is it really THAT DIFFICULT to use your blinkers when driving?

When I got to work, there was mochi ice cream waiting for me. Yay.

Agreed. Got tickets to take my wife to see Micheal Buble, found a shortcut to work that saves me 10 minutes, it's Friday, and I got tickets to tomorrows baseball game (kinston Indians) front row behind the home plate.
