what game do you regret passing up when you had the chance
for me, it was every time single time I walked passed suikoden II for $15.00 and never gave it a second thought.
Re: what game do you regret passing up when you had the chance
Great question, I can't think of anything at the moment, the closest would probably be the chance to buy a N64 w/specifically Goldeneye when it was relatively new. My neighbor had it and we played it all the time and I wanted it so badly. Of course that wish was fulfilled about 13 years later, and for a very small fraction of the price
E: I was about 13 at the time so spending the $150 for the system plus another $50 for the game required careful planning and use of holiday cash.

I remember in 2007 there were a lot of GBA titles that I'd see in my local Walmart and KMart cheapo bins, but at the time I was more into Gamecube and NDS so I passed up a lot of good games on the cheap.
...but I have most of them now anyway.

I can add a recent regret. I wanted an Amiga CD32 and there were tons of sellers selling NTSC version from HK for $100-$115 shipped CIB almsost new. I am always hesitant to buy from HK, the price was good but I thought I would take my time since so many were on Ebay. Now that I finally decided it didn't matter if it was from HK, I needed one, There are none to be found. This was only a month ago.

When the Hori Wii stick first came out it was going to cost me £60 including shipping to the UK, I watched the price slowly fall to £30 but I was into some other game at the time. Then I came back to Guily Gear, looked at ebay and they had stopped making them so they were up to £60 again.

All the Megamans for NES and Gameboy when they were 18€ at my local store and I was like 13 years old. I remember they were hella difficult to me and I was more focused on my N64.

Re: what game do you regret passing up when you had the chance
Such a good topic. In 2002 or so I picked up a copy of House of the Dead for the Saturn on eBay for, I'm not sure how much, but I wouldn't have paid more than $30 at the time. I still have it, and it's now worth $60-$80. I bought it because my brother and I were into playing the arcade version. I really wish I had bought more Saturn games at the time since they have since doubled or more in value. At least I have a couple rare Saturn games.

Not buying a $30 CIB N-gage with a couple other games. At the time I was on a budget, I didn't know i wouldn't see another one at all on Craigslist. That was just last summer.
