Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Sometimes my job is cool

Post by RadarScope1 »

I wrote a story for the paper about Halo 3 today. It's not the best writing I've done, but it gets the point across. I'd like to write something about retrogaming sometime, but its kind of a niche topic get make it into the paper. It looks a lot cooler on the actual broadsheet page (might post a pdf later). Our web site looks like balls.

I thought it was well written. This is a stupid gripe that you really shouldn't have to change, but I felt there were too many paragraphs, some things could have been condensed so the writings didn't seem so sporadic. Still, good piece, well researched and written.

I tend to spilt up paragraphs more online than I would in a formal, printed piece. I think it's easier for people to scan -- which is important online.

I can't stand online pieces with large paragraphs (or NONE) since I tend to loose my place

Hey thanks. It's kind of funny because I don't play Halo.

As for the grafs, it's newspaper style. Most grafs are just one or two sentences at the most.
