It's an alright game. Too much hype imo for what it really is.

I agree, got it played for awhile, its now in my 'play once more important stuff is finished' pile. The gameplay is pretty average, Jack Black is funny and the cameos are good but other than that its a fairly average title.

Did you make it to your first stage battle? To say it's average just seems like you didn't progress enough in the campaign.

I liked the game but I feel the gameplay was pretty standard as well. There was nothing particularly special about fighting, and none of the different kinds of gameplay was particularly fantastic. The humour, environment, the story, and jack black made the game for me.
