If you liked RE5 you really should give Dead Space a try, I preferred it to RE5, it kind of reminded me of how they could have made the game feel more fluent.

Dead Space had a nice story and atmosphere(two areas where RE 5 falls flat on its face), but I found the gameplay repetitive and boring. And the decapitation gameplay was overhyped(what isn't these days?)

I'll echo some of the dissapointment people had with RE 5. It's a good game sure, but they completely ditched some of RE 4's finer elements and FORCED a co-op feature into what was a single player formula. The moment I really got fed up with the forced co-op was in fighting the ogre in that jeep and realizing that you absolutely could not shoot everything you needed to hit in that fight with the computer AI. I hated how you had to rely on Sheva so damn much and she wasn't up to the task. It's like they were trying to FORCE you to play with a human player, which I did not appreciate. Co-op gaming is fun, but I don't buy games for OTHER people. I buy them for me, so I want a quality single player. I will NEVER buy a game just for co-op or multi-player.

Oh, and RE 4 seemed to be aware of its own silliness, while RE 5 took itself WAY too seriously. Oh, and I HATE stat keeping games. Another thing about RE 5 that annoyed the perfectionist in me was that stat screen

Wow.. i just beat it in one sitting on easy lol. On that play trough I looked up "easy money" (I never do this type of thing until after i beat a game). So now I have maxed out every weapon i am able to acquire (I'm sure i'm missing a couple). Since i have unlimited ammo for the M3 Shotgun, L. Hawk Magnum and Sig P226 Pistol.. even Veteran mode is easy as shit. I have now lost intrest about half way through Veteran mode. lol

I played the demo on my PS3 which wasn't to bad. But then I discovered RE4 on the Wii. WOW oh WOW! The controls were the best! I would like to see RE5 on the wii. I dont think its going to happen, but I would pick up the game for that version.
