How can you afford to buy stuff at cash converters? They are the most over priced pawn shop ever. They usually have a good selection but I thought that was because nobody buys stuff there.

If it was something I really wanted, I might think about it, but I would really have to want it.

By the way, the blog is awesome!

Generally speaking very true, I saw FFX-2 and FFXII for like $8 each at once so I picked them up, great condition, rare for Cash Converters, other than those stupid stickers which never come off PS2 cases. Also got a copy of GTAIII for 50c, shit condition both disc and case but its 50c

Thanks!

I believe I had a great haul today. We had to take our dog to the vet so went to gladstone (20ish minutes away). They had to have the dog a little while so we ate some food and stoped off at the DAV. There I got 5 NIB 90's xmen action figures (one I already had f yeah Savage Land Wolverine) and a NIB Silver Surfer character. I also got 3 of those game and watch key chain gb with a single game. All for $35.

Then I followed up on something hilariously awesome. My brother sends me a lot of stupid craigslist links. Mostly broken cars or other complete junk. For some reason he was looking in a craigslist of one of the surrounding areas of KCMO. In the Lawrence KS (home of the University of Kansas) craigslist. A dude was selling a Neo Geo MVS with 17 games for $350.

http://lawrence.craigslist.org/vgm/1653324109.html

I wasn't worried about the system not working. My fiance knows a guy who used to work on arcades professionally. The guy said the sound would go in and out. When I tested it, the sound worked. The 1st player controller wasn't so hot but player 2 was smooth. It is about an hour from Lawrence to where I was taking the neo geo to my new house. 15 minutes away I ran out of gas. I was so worried about the damn thing moving around in the truck I didn't put in more gas. Some gas gages it isn't till it gets past the line (like in my saturn) but in my Isuzu Hombre when it touches the line it is out of gas.

Since I was getting a lot of crap, I had to promise my fiance that we would get a Newfoundland. And there is the annual rummage sale tomorrow.
