Yeah the FF titles I play through a couple times. Ive played the SNES ones through so many times and since theyre re release on DS and DSi Ive been playing through those again. Same story but man I love those old school RPGs. FF7 is one of my top 5 favorites and I cant get enough of it. 3 times is the least Ive played through. WHat can I say, I love FF series! That's funny, for me FF and VII in general got completly ruined by all the faggotizing and whoring out of the series. I was a huge fan of VII back around the release. Played it with my friends every day and talked about it in school. It sure was sweet. In the years to come I would still play it once a year because its just so great. And back in 2009 last year, I played it on epsxe with the opengl plugin for smoothing and filtering, as well as a juicy HD resolution. Still good memorys overall.
But theres.. that aftertaste. Ever since FF9 the series went downhill for me, and when playing 10 I felt suddenly like I accidentally made a step into the .. by-curious world. The stupid beachboy character didnt help at all. Anyway, point is the series got whored out, dragged into the pretty boy world and the fan base somehow.. shifted. I cant put my finger on it, but its not the same anymore. I wouldnt touch the stupid new one either, except the main babe everyone in the game looks stupid, behaves stupid and has an abnormally stupid american dubbing. *rantrantrant*
edit: oh btw prettyboy. The last RPG that made me feel bad after playing it was Lost Odyssey. And luckily my best pal agrees fully on that. The mug of that guy is incredibly ... Schwul =) And so is everyone else in that game. Pretty boy galore in a really bad way.
