The Old Bits (Retro Gaming!) Now in HD!

Post by emwearz »

http://www.theoldbits.blogspot.com

Started a Retro related blog, which is really just my day to day experiences / gripes / joys of being a retro gaming, not featuring all too much at the moment, but just thought I would give people the heads up.

I heartily endorse this product and/or event.

 Seriously though, emwearz has posted some great stuff there so far, and is a generally awesome guy anyway, so stop reading this and click the link to his blog already!

Cool little read. And yes Cash converters do suck! They do that shit all over the country.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Cashies are horrid, everything is in shit condition and overpriced, but its one of the few places you can find stuff, so I have no choice but to check in.

This morning out of desperation to find something cool, I decided to go to a tip shop. Y'know, the places that sell the stuff normal people throw out ,and you know what. I had better shopping experience there than at cc. Picked up a couple of old ps1's for $4 a piece (one in perfect working order, the other is perfect for parts) and a copy of asteroids for 50c. I even managed to find some records.

I never get much luck at those places, I have picked up a copy of Sonic 2 for like $4 before but other than that.., Nice scored though, maybe I should start visiting the one near me more often.
