Avatars St. Patty's day attire can be bought on March 11, along with clothes from Scrap Metal. The next week, Perfect Dark clothes can be picked up on March 18. The same day, the Alan Wake collection will be available as well.

On March 15, the original Fable will be the Deal of the Week for 800 Microsoft Points. Following it on March 22 will be the add-ons for Fallout 3, available for 400 MP each.

For game add-ons, Forza Motorsport 3 gets a new car pack today for 400 MP. The pack features 10 cars to try out on the tracks across the world. On March 11, the first pack for BioShock 2 will be available, adding 10 new ranks to get, new weapon upgrades, trials and more to multiplayer.

On March 16, the Awakening expansion pack for Dragon Age: Origins will be out for 3200 MP. New creatures, specializations, spells and talents will be able to be found in this game. Also, throughout the month of March new tracks will come to Lips, including songs by Norah Jones, The Corrs, the Commodores and more.

Japanese gamers will be able to get Guilty Gear 2 Overture today from the Games on Demand service. While no other games were announced, Kameo: Elements of Power, Mass Effect, Perfect Dark Zero and the Viva Pinata series has been discounted in Europe, and Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise has also been discounted in the US.

Microsoft also has a deal for Silver members, as Modern Warfare 2 online multiplayer will be free to play for them from March 12 until March 15. :D

Rounding out the announcements is something for people needing to renew their Gold member or go Gold. Buying a 12 month subscription to LIVE between March 15-31 will get you an addition two months free. :shock:

3200 microsoft points!? For an expansion!? That's almost £30... I don't pay that for retail releases... That's fucking insane. I wish Microsoft would fuck off with stupid Microsoft points. It's so annoying. Even Europe get the games cheaper than us...

3200 = £27.41 = €38.40 = £25.89. WTF is that about?

How much crack do I need to smoke before seeing the logic in paying for digital clothes for an avatar I see for 5 seconds on bootup.

I don't know but people who do pay for avatar shit are morons. They could have supported the Indie scene and thrown 80ms to the dude who made 'I maed a game with zombies in it' instead of some shitty little hat or some pointless t-shirt with a branded logo on it. Do these people not realise they are paying to be a walking billboard?
