A truly new way to play games, or a sad Wii knockoff? Who knows - it's still pretty early... but it has been revealed.

I'll be interested when we start seeing some more games for it. The Gladiator game seems fun, but not fun enough for me to drop too much cash on. I'm really hoping that RTS tech demo that came out when we first saw this at E3 will be fleshed out into a real game. I had been hoping we'd get a motion controlled RTS on the Wii, but it never came - at least we've seen Sony actually kick the idea around.

I, HATE motion controls. They are absolutely HORRIBLE. I don't care how "refined" they are. Give me a standard DualShock controller and I'm perfectly happy.

The Sega Activator was good, though.

Anyone else think it looks like one of those Hitachi Magic Wands? Y'know those 'Electric massagers' that are used by women.

The better article is after clicking on the first link - how the Move is not like the Wii-mote. I mean better as in pathetic. This guy is so eager to prove that Play Station is not ripping off Nintendo. He even says the Move has less buttons and goes on to list all the confusing and annoying buttons that the Wii-mote has (like a TV remote). If you count the Move's buttons, it's about the same. The initial comments after the article are overly enthusiastic about the Move too, but as you get further down everyone seems to have realized that the two (Move and Wii-mote) are pretty similar. The most interesting comment states that most everyone who is interested in motion controls already bought a Wii while those who could care less or who do not like motion controls have the PS3. Some people have both so why waste the money on motion controls for the PS3. It has been enough time and people have settled on their consoles. I could see this biting Sony in the ass. There are a lot of pieces required (as someone else states along with prices, especially since the sub controller does not have motion controls meaning if a game requires two handed motioned controls you need to buy another Move).

Something tells me that for the most part the type of audience that's partial to the PS3 isn't going to have much use for this.
