Third part of high school, actually. I'm not by any means proficient at it, my comprehension could use some work. My vocabulary is generally pretty good, but Latin grammar is a pain. It's frustrating, because really all I can do with other languages is emulate them through English.

Does anyone speak Hebrew or know someone that does? Now that's an interesting language.

English
Tagalog (Filipino)
Spanish
Hmong
Japanese

and a smattering of

Korean
German
Polish
Orominia (ethopian)
Tigrinia (ethiopian)
Cantonese

course, if I had nothing better to do, I'd sit and actually learn them all.
How similar is tagalog and spanish ?
I heard tagalog is highly influenced by Spanish, in the middle east we have a lot of people from the Philippines . Komestaka?

You got your kanji mixed up. It's "両親", not "両新" for parents. "両新" means "new" as in "あただし” for kunyomi.

"新" looked funny to me, so my wife confirmed the correct kanji. Gotta love those pull-down kanji menus, eh? :)

I speak English, wife is bilingual English and Tagalog. She reflected on how confusing the English language is. Lot of words, depending on sentence structure could mean two or even four different things. Also (similar in a way Yoda talks in Star Wars) a lot of other languages reverse the noun and verbs. I can sympathize with anyone who has to juggle two languages not only a grasp of the words but also the grammar. I asked her which language she thinks or even dreamed in. Dreams not sure, but because primary use of English language, most of the time, thought process is in English.

Windows itself has support for Japanese characters and many other languages. If you go to your control panel and check the keyboard options, you can find a way to add support for multiple languages. Use Google if you need more detailed instructions. And in case you are wondering, you don't need a Japanese keyboard to type Japanese.
