Congrats on putting a game together! A lot of us want to, but few of us do.

I have to say that I downloaded this one, and loved it! I got to level 9 my first try on the default difficulty, and like how the difficulty increased by the end. Its a very satisfying arcade style quasi Missile Command/Defender hybrid... I guess that's how I could describe it. Very impressed at how hooked I was.

I'd recommend anyone who is remotely interested to try it. Thanks for sending me a code, I will play this game a ton! The only thing I didn't see is a way to compare high scores... but then again I didn't really dig too deep.

Cheers!
Got: Atari 2600, Atari 7800Pro, Commodore 64, Odyssey 2, Sega Master System, NES, Genesis Models 1-3, Nomad, Game Gear, Sega CD Model 1, Sega 32x, SuperNES, GameBoys, GameBoy Pocket, GBC, Sega Saturn Model 2, GBA, Nintendo 64, Playstation, Sega Dreamcast, Playstation 2 Slim, Nintendo DS Lite, Xbox 360, Gamecube, PS3 Slim

I'm happy you liked it, because the sales are nowhere near where I had hoped(and I had very low expectations).

At least some people seem to like it, and I made it onto Gay Gamers yay pile.

Overall its a learning experience, and you cant expect to be perfect on your first attempt.

I wish Microsoft did more to promote the indie games section of XBL. There is so much good stuff on there that goes unnoticed by the casual crowd.

Good luck on sales! It's a bit new, so maybe if it gets some more press or word of mouth it will sell a bit more.

From what I've heard your first day on the market place is your best, because you get the only promotion Microsoft gives you, the new arrivals section(or if your lucky the top downloaded, or top rated). So I think sales are just going to go down from this point on.

I think The art style of the game, and the fact that I used the British spelling of defence rather than the American spelling meant that less people tried the demo.

So for my next game I'm putting more effort into artwork in the hopes it will encourage more people to try the trial version.

Here's a very early screenshot of a level I just started working on today.

I'm pretty into the XBLIG. Usually look at the new stuff every couple days. Didn't realize it was a RB member - that's pretty cool. I'm going to check it out.

I'll rate it 5 no matter what. That's about the only way people can sort through things. I wish there was a "recent" highest rated as well as all-time highest. The top rated just sit there month after month and it takes a long time for new titles to get up there. I have both Arkedo platformers, Avatar Golf, Headshot 2, bricks4ever and a few others.
