I bought A U-Force!

Post by Gooseberrysoda »

May sound like a dumb idea, but I had to have one. What games are the best for it (Besides mike tyson's punch-out)?

I don't think any game works good with it. Kind of puts in perspective of Wii's controller roots. A rare collectable novelty.

There is a homebrew game on retrousb.com U-Force Power Games. Has four games on it.

I personally haven't tried it, but the games do look somewhat interesting.
Collects promo gaming stuff, certain import games, hockey memorabilia, and other oddball things. (sig and avy under construction)

My friends bought me a U-Force for my birthday back in the 90s as a joke, it had been reduced to a fiver in the bargain bin at a games store. We only took it out of the box once to have a laugh at it, tried playing various games with it, to no avail. It went back in the box in pretty mint condition and never saw the light of day again. I actualy can't remember what I did with it. A shame really as I understand they are quite collectable now. Ha ha. The brodebund games comilation looks interesting though.

Besides the U-Force homebrew games. You may want to try flight simulators like top gun and of course Punch Out!

Do not try to play Ninja Gaiden 2 on it. I couldn't even make it to the first boss.

According to the AVGN, Top Gun actually seems to work pretty well with it.

It's worth trying once just to have done it (don't forget to attach the "power bar" or whatever it's called to the bottom sensors), but the U-force is about as bad for Punch Out as the power glove is. The only game I tried that kind of worked reasonably well was Stealth ATF, but I never tried Top Gun. They are similar games.
