I like to listen, but I don't really have any of the music in my collection. There's a site out there that is a sort of a label for chiptunes artists. I enjoyed listening to the stuff on there - and it was all free. Can't remember what the name of the site though...

EDIT: Here it is, courtesy of link-hopping off of Mozgus' music article posted on the site today:

I love chiptunes. I saw Nullsleep and Bitshifter live at a retro arcade here and it was "fuckin awesome" if I must say.

I am an electronic musician. Right now I use a Nintendo Wii-mote in live shows to control FX and perform crazy note bending and glitching. Kinda hard to explain. The classic controller acts as a trigger pad for samples, phrases, or whatever I want to trigger. I use 4 wii-motes a show right now which is a pain in the ass to sync.

Just got back from playing in Japan. Played at a couple clubs but the outdoor street performances were the best. Playing tekno on the street in Harajuku in front of the cosplayers with a Nintendo controller and a boombox was just epic!

Did you play any in Kichijouji? That's a major music spot for live performances.

Meltdown, that is so sick. I wish I could perform in Japan. I gotta get my skills better first, though. I've been looking into getting LSDJ/Nanoloop for my collection of DMGs.

How do you do that with the Wiimotes? I remember seeing a tutorial on how to pair it through Bluetooth with IVT Bluesoleil, but I don't know if that's actually how you do it. It kind of makes me want to go out and buy a Wiimote even though I don't have a Wii.

I heart the tewnz. Name a chip artist, I have probably heard their stuff. Been listening to Rushjet1's stuff along with some Covox.

I actually did try to play in Kichijouji. I think it was off the Chuo line, its all a blue. It was so populated with street performers I decided to go somewhere else. Also in that area live houses send out mean looking guys to pressure street performers to move away from the area. Being gaijin I didn't want to mess with anyone. It was really clean there though!
