I wanted to take a little time to give everybody a heads-up about a new feature for the blog that will debut tomorrow.
Mozgus is heading up a bi-weekly looks some under-appreciated gaming music tracks that he wants to share.
On occasion, I may throw in some of my recommendations as well.
Our goal is to have this posted every other weekend and have three songs featured each time.
Again, look for it on Sunday night and I look forward to hearing what you think.
This (along with the future series of artwork posts) is a part of my initiative to adding some diversity to the main content of the site and bring together the "retro gaming lifestyle" theme.
New Site Feature: Overlooked Music Mix
Again, my selections won't be exclusively "retro", but close enough. I really don't know how much chiptune music I'll be featuring, seeing as how that's extremely difficult to catch a casual viewer's interest with. Modernized high-quality arrangements of those songs will usually be prioritized.
I should have enough in my collection to keep this up indefinitely, even if no one wants me to.

I prefer stuff that I can drive around with my windows rolled down without looking like a complete nerd

That never stopped me. You wouldn't believe what I've played in my '90 corolla with my shades and megaman shirt on.racketboy wrote:That's cool with me.

Those late 90's ones look so much better.racketboy wrote:Hehe -- I have a '97 Corolla btw
My family bought mine for me for $400 a while back and it's been very reliable ever since. It was cheap due to interior staining and cracked dash and other visual flaws, most of which I was able to fix or improve, but the engine and such seems very well kept. I've only taken care of the essentials like tires, spark plugs, oil filter, air filter, brake pads, wipers, valve cover seal, etc. The muffler fell to pieces but I got a new one built and installed for $110, and thats about it. Great car. I've also never so much as bumped any other object on the road, unlike all my friends who wrecked their cars growing up. My cautious nature carried over well.
If I get a new one I'll stick with this series if possible.

hot diggity freakin' dog!
More gay ass music for me to annoy everyone in the studio with. ohhhh, yeah.
They've gotten so used to it with me, that Edd made my ring tone on his phone TJ+E... and on my old phone (when I could transfer my own ringtones to it) I had various genny songs for ringtones; Sonic 3, TJ+E, Shining Force, Sub-terrania, the sort...

Sweet. I've heard the early 90's ones are rock solid -- probably the best Toyota has ever made -- my era being the next best.Mozgus wrote:Those late 90's ones look so much better.racketboy wrote:Hehe -- I have a '97 Corolla btw

Maybe I'll PM you with more Corolla talk -- I'd hate to take this thread WAY off topic
