I hope that if they do another Spider-Man, it's entirely Emo Spider-Man doing West Side Story-style dance numbers and slapping chicks.

I'm pissed about the reboot thing. I was awaiting raimi to redeem himself with Spiderman 4, and I really wanted to see the series go out on a high note. The reasoning for the reboot sounds pretty illogical too, Raimi didn't think they'd be able to put together a quality movie by May 2011, which was the date Sony wanted to make. So what'd they end up doing? Starting from scratch and pushing the movie to 2012, which is what Raimi wanted in the first place.

I watched the video and that is 4 minutes of my life that I want back. And I remember liking that song in the '80s. Guess that's been ruined.

From what I've heard, it will also focus more on Peter and his life in High School. Not sure if they'll be following the Ulitame outline or not.

In related Marvel movie news, John Krasinski (Jim of the Office) is in talks to play Captain America.

Jim cant be the Captain. He never fought with Hugh Jackman in WW2

He was pretty good in LEATHERHEADS. I'm just not sure how he'd boss around the HULK and Iron Man. Not even sure how they're going to mix in the HULK in the Avengers movie.

Rebooting such a recent film series has to be one of the dumber ideas I've seen come out of hollywood.
