Re: Game Boy Player Land (my new blog)
BTW, regarding the screen issues, my GBPlayer has been set to Full Screen / Sharp Filter all this time. So I don't know...

I've been thinking about getting one of the GBA players for a while now. So the games will look decent on a 32" SDTV using s-video?
Also, would you say $25 shipped is a good price?

No, you can buy them from Gamestop for $10.Flak Beard wrote: Also, would you say $25 shipped is a good price?

I tried that. Unfortunately only one GameStop near my house had one, and the start-up disc was missing.noiseredux wrote:No, you can buy them from Gamestop for $10.

Too bad your local gamestop doesn't have one with the disc. Maybe check back every so often, if anything to get a spare later. The 25 bucks online shipped is not a bad deal considering all the games that can be added to Gamecube library. I think the gameboy games on the big screen are graphically similar to NES graphics. If you are willing to splurge get that Gamecube Component cable from take your wallet-Bay. just getting all the Gamecube games to 480p is well worth that. I have a screenshot comparison at my signature post.Flak Beard wrote:I tried that. If your cube is modded, you could play a backup of the startup disc.Flak Beard wrote: I tried that. Unfortunately only one GameStop near my house had one, and the start-up disc was missing.
