Limited Edition Crystal oXbox - Can someone confirm

Can someone confirm for me that the LE Crystal Xbox is region free? I recently purchased the NTSC version and have always wanted to try Metal Wolf Chaos and (don't laugh) N.U.D.E.

And I really not a mod guy so I didn't want to go that route.

No it's not. I have one. It wouldn't play NTSC games until I softmodded it.

Basterds ... why would they say that? Do any NTSC version play imports? I also have the Mountain Dew, Halo 1 Green, Halo 2 Blue also ...

I should also say my crystal is the Canadian version ... does that change anything?

Well, my crystal was a PAL version so it may be different. I don't know why they'd make one version region locked and one version region free.

It shouldn't make any difference if you're Canadian, the Xbox will still be an NTSC system.

AAAAAaaaaa .... NNNNNOoooooo!!! Don't call me that, lol. No I was just saying since it was released both at a B&M in Canada and online in the US, I just wanted to see if the Canadian version might make a differance.

Oh, sorry I didn't mean any offence by it. I don't know why Americans get all their panties in a twist, all the Canadians I've met are lovely people. Americans on the other hand… haven't met a single one that didn't drive me up the wall.

I'm pretty sure there's a region icon on the box saying Region 2, however that might just be for the DVD player. So yeah, sorry I can't be of much help, despite having a crystal xbox. They do look awesome, especially when you rip the metal shielding out and take the shielding off the DVD drive.

Funny thing, I'm first generation American and with my family from Ashbury and Yorkshire. No, it's just I work with some of our colleges in CAN and boy do they hate us Americans.

I just have to point out that while I did laugh, it was because you also mentioned the Crystal Xbox which was see through.
