there's pretty much nothing there right now. But I'm planning to do some cool stuff. Anyway. Just a heads up.

Love the Gameboy player! Before it came out I was contemplating on modding the GBA for video out to my HD. With Gamecube work has been done ! This is definitely where Nintendo messed up by not incorporating a version for the Wii.

Between Wario Ware Inc's GBA and Gamecube I think the GBA one I think is better. it has all the extra animation cut scenes and great music. With the Gameboy Player, even better with option to play on the big screen.

yeah, I think a lot of people don't realize that the GBPlayer Startup Disc supports progressive scan. So lucky owners of the GC Component Cables are in for a treat. I myself use GC --> VGA Box --> LCD monitor, and though the GC shows some horizontal lines due to the stretch, the GB Player tends to look fantastic this way, as a widescreen monitor is actually a lot closer to the dimensions of GBA screen (which the GBPlayer technically is).

I have a GB player but i have only used it a few times. To my eye it doesn't play the games properly. Kinda "jerky" like its missing frames or something. Annoys me to much :'(

I don't see that... are you on a high def TV? Are you stretching the game screen?

at rate, the blog is meant to overlap and discuss GB, GBC, GBA games and accessories, with the stray GC article mixed in if it seems relevant.

No to both. Way back when i tried it out I googled it and read about the problem in a few reviews so i was confident it was nothing i was doing.

My HD is one of the few 4:3 HD CRT's. Smooth scrolling on screen. With the component cable I was surprised that the GBA graphics blown up to HD 480p looked better then I expected. Then again Warioware Inc Gamecube version gameplay screens are the same GBA screens. The best thing about the Gameboy Player is playing ALL version Gameboy carts on the big screen and no squinting!

Right? This is why I say it's my favorite console. 20 yrs of amazing little 8bit/16bit carts now fully playable on a nice big screen. I love it. Like the VC only better, cuz I can collect physical carts! :)
