Probably doubles as a paint can shaker ............

Okay, Okay I'm sorry, gotta have fun when you keep putting up the target.

Glad it did work for your friend. Still not good idea though. I never understood why some rental videos had that theft deterrent strip on their discs either. Think of same principal as weights added to wheel of car but opposite on a CD that is already balanced and spinning a lot faster.

Yup, I ended up with an ex rental DC SFIII 3rd strike with a strip making it unbalanced. Between that and the rental abuse it would only load 1 of 10 times. I tried to carefully pull the strip and skin off and ended up peeling the aluminum layer in one spot and permanently killed it. :(

I won't delete a post unless it really deserves it. I'm not going to censor the board, I'm pretty sure the other mods feel this way too.

Sorry you got a beatdown tahoe2, but I learned from your misfortune. I've never intentionally put any stickers on my CDs, but I have seen some games from rental places where they put stickers for their store on the disc. Ive also seen custom designed CD shaped stickers for putting on top of your CDs. I hadn't thought about the extra weight as a problem for speed, or for too much wobble. I'm not going to put any CDs with extra stickers in my drive now.

Good policy. All inputs contributes to activity, allows more open discussion and debate.
