Need a new show, any suggestions?

Post by jp1 »

Ok these are the current shows we like..

Sons of Anarchy
Breaking Bad
Nip/Tuck
Dexter
True Blood
The Office
Curb Your Enthusiasm
United States of Tara
How I Met Your Mother
Big Bang
Damages
Always Sunny

There are more but that should be enough to compare current tastes. Anyone with a similar list have anything else to recommend? I will consider almost anything except scifi stuff.

Two suggestions, ironically both from USA:
Burn Notice - It is best described as James Bond meets the A-Team.
Psych - Comedy cop drama done right

I watched Misfits a couple of weeks ago, it was pretty fun. It's like Heroes, but without the suck.

I strongly feel anyone should watch Flight of the Conchords. Really, it's awesome. Seeing the comedy shows you watch, you'll most certainly like it.

Another show I like a lot is Entourage, might wanna give it a try.

I'd say my wife and I have fairly similar taste (at least, we like the shows you have listed that we have seen).

I'm assuming that you are referring to the US version of "The Office". I don't recall right now where you're from.

Right now I think that NBC's entire Thursday night 8-10pm (EST) lineup is pretty good. I actually think that right now "The Office" is the weakest show of the four.

Supernatural is surprisingly good, even if it is on the CW.

Modern Family is really funny and I've been loving it lately. It stars Ed O'Neill of Married With Children fame.
