"E for Everyone" is a smart label. It could say something like "For children 5 and up", but instead they opt to not exclude adults. "T for Teen" however, sounds like you might not want to buy it if you're an adult. I don't know if this language has any actual effect on sales, but I do find it interesting that the systems with more E games seem to sell better.

Although, I can't say anything, my generation are the retards who are ruining gaming at the moment.

Indeed, if the "youth" didn't just buy Call of Duty 20 or Halo 15 or whatever, but bought better games, then it would help shape game quality in future titles. Titles these days are more interested in looking glossy than having gameplay value, whereas in the "old days" there was so little memory available for games that they had to concentrate on quality gameplay and "passable" graphics.

apparently that's wrong... mobygames lists the sole AO game as GTA: San Andreas. http://www.mobygames.com/browse/games/ps2/rsc,13/rs,94/ however, clearly the pictures of the covers show it as being an M-rated game in actuality.
