Sweet. Finally my Wii can get some usage, until I get bored and move on.

Budget title? The $30 - $40 price point seems a little high, even for this. This would be better suited as a PSN/XBLA/WiiWare download honestly.

Anyone else thinking this might suck for colour blind players? Why are the note paths horizontal? I hope it's just mockup otherwise this might be unplayable.

From that screen cap, it looks like the colors correspond directly with the horizontal lines on which they appear, so I don't think it will end up being an issue. Being colorblind myself (as probably 10% of Racketboy visitors are), I'm usually pretty sensitive to these things. Color has definitely messed me up on a few games, like Wario Ware Inc., Dr. Mario, and the Legend of Zelda Oracle games.

I'm torn between my love of zombie and my hate of music/rhythm games.

I don't look at the colours when I play rock band/guitar hero. So this is going to be impossible for me to play. It's completely backwards if it's horizontal. Having to think about playing one of these games just turns me off of the concept. I don't need to think when I play a real instrument while reading music so having to think while I play a fake one just seems retarded as a concept for me.
