Financially too, I'm guessing it would be wise. I've seen copies of ME1 at a local shop used for $10. By the time I was ready to move on to ME2, it likely wouldn't cost $60 any more.

Who knows how this will work out though. When you buy ME2, you can only play the game with a Cerberus Network account (comes with the game). This will impact the used game market as the accounts can only be used once and a new one costs $15. This is obviously EA trying to kill the resale/used market with this title. So I guess it would not be a problem if you planned on getting a new copy. Someone correct me if I am wrong about this?

That's absolutely correct. New copies can access it, those with used copies will have to pay $15. I'm not sure how essential this content is to the game, but it's not just optional missions (though those will be distributed through the CN). It's also top equipment, items, etc, I think.

I'll probably wait for the first price drop, or use some Best Buy gift certs I have hanging around.

Just think. The first Gamestop used copies usually go for $54.99. So an unsuspecting person might buy a used copy and then have to pay an additional $15 for the Cerberus account. Thus overpaying by $10. Just great.

And what about down the road? That is probably a moot point as there will be very few 360s that actually WORK in 5-10 years time. They don't make hardware like they used to.
